Singing Lessons for Singers of Every Age

Learning how to sing is enjoyable for all ages. That said, the focus can shift some depending on the age and maturity of the singer.

While the needs of each age level can differ a fair bit as demonstrated below, we have teachers on our team that can easily work with all ages and talent levels.

Singing Lessons for Children

The right age to start singing lessons is a greatly debated topic. Due to the physical development of the vocal cords, we recommend that children don’t start singing lessons until they are at least 8 years old.

That said, some may find it better to wait a few years as many children will be a lot more easily able to focus and use the concepts learned in their lessons.

We have instructors that enjoy and prefer teaching singing lessons for kids. If you’re wondering if it’s the right time to begin lessons for your child, our staff can help. Fill out the new student form and schedule the first lesson.

Singing Lessons for Teens

Teens often times have different needs for vocal lessons than other ages. Often teens need assistance with show or choir tryouts, or things like college audition preparation. Others just want to explore the songs they like and see where that takes them.

We have coaches on our team that can help with your teens goals. To start, inform us of your teens goals when you fill out the new student form and we will help connect you two with a coach that can help them along their vocal journey.

Adult Voice Lessons

Generally, adult vocal lessons are quite different than lessons for kids or teenagers. Adults usually have a better idea of the goals they intend to accomplish, and are usually more disciplined in making it happen.

Whether the adult client is aiming to develop their voice for fun, wants to do some performing, or is a pro wanting to grow their voice, our instructors can help.

But first, you need to complete the new student form so that we can get you in touch with a vocal coach that’s a good fit for you and your singing needs.
